Sea Jay Marine Services
Every boat is different—and every owner uses it differently. We listen first, then make a solution that fits accurately, works naturally and looks at home on board.

From a small repair to a full new enclosure, the same care goes into the pattern, the materials and the final fit.
Made-to-measure cockpit, tonneau, winter and full boat covers, shaped around every rail, screen and fitting.
New sprayhoods and carefully fitted replacements with clear sightlines, dependable structure and a clean finish.
Weather protection with detachable panels that store neatly, leaving a practical bimini sunshade when removed.
Interior and exterior cushions, seating, berth infills and soft furnishings made for the demands of life afloat.
Replacement windows, zips, panels and fittings, plus considered alterations that extend the life of existing canvas.
Standing and running rigging, mast work, sail repairs and practical support from an experienced marine team.
A specialist cleaning and care service to help covers and sails look better, work properly and last longer.
Canopies, specialist vehicle covers, outdoor enclosures and one-off fabric projects where an exact fit matters.
Precision templating
This is our method of templating for accuracy and true bespoke capability. Using plastic polythene sheeting of the correct specification, we shape and mark every project directly on the boat so we can meet each customer's individual wants and needs on every cover we complete.

More ways to use your cockpit
Our cockpit enclosures are designed with detachable panels all around. Take the panels off for easy, compact storage and the roof remains in place as a bimini—giving you an open cockpit with useful shade.

One enclosure · Two viewpoints
Paired photographs show the whole job when one angle cannot. These opposite internal views reveal the shelter, light and usable space created by the finished enclosure.

Before & after
The old cover was faded, damaged and no longer protecting the cockpit. A replacement was patterned and made from scratch for a taut fit, reliable fixings and renewed protection.

Marine upholstery
Made-to-measure cushions can transform how a boat feels. We produce interior seating, berth cushions, infills and exterior cockpit cushions with carefully shaped foam, durable materials and a finish that belongs on board.

Customer reviews
★★★★★“Absolutely fantastic service and incredibly helpful and friendly. They came to our rescue after another company made a poor job of our canopy and Sea Jay Marine services not only corrected it but improved it too. Highly recommended and an absolutely top job 😊👌”
★★★★★“Superb job refurbishing the cockpit covers and tonneau for our Cruise Craft. First class job.”
★★★★★“Excellent service. I made contact as our boat cover zip had broken over winter. Due to our location and the boat’s location it was difficult to arrange as I didn’t want to leave the boat uncovered for a long period of time. Sea Jay Marine removed the cover, fixed the cover and then visited again to replace it once repaired. I really appreciated that, as it made the whole process stress free. Thanks again.”
★★★★★“Great to see how well J has setup the new workshop and boy, is it busy!”
Beyond the boatyard
Marine work is our core, but the same patterning, fabrication and fitting skills can solve unusual projects on land—from vehicle canopies and outdoor enclosures to genuinely one-off structures.

Our story

Where it began
Sea Jay Marine Services was founded by Cjay—the name behind the business itself. This photograph captures him sewing one of the company's first jobs in the original workshop at Griffiths Crossing, on the machine that helped begin the story.

The next chapter
As the business grew, Sea Jay moved into larger premises at Llandygai Industrial Estate. The current workshop was shaped around the work, with extensive patterning tables and dedicated space for cutting, sewing and producing larger bespoke projects.

Carrying Sam with us
Our first fully branded company vehicle marks an important step for Sea Jay Marine Services. Within the lettering, the blue S, A and M form a quiet tribute to Sam—Cjay's son and a much-loved part of our family and business. His contribution remains part of everything we carry forward.
